In addition to our core facility and project management capabilities, our platform offers direct access to our Best-in-Class services, including ESG, Security Consulting, Workplace Strategy, and Workplace Experience. **About the Role:** As a CBRE Mover, you’ll provide support on site and co-ordinate all moving duties within the client’s sites. You will work alongside other Movers, and ensure quality of work is maintained. You will also be responsible for some light duty maintenance and repairs throughout the client’s sites as assigned. You will closely liaise with FM staff and other client stakeholders to coordinate tasks and ensure work is performed to the satisfaction of the client. **What You’ll Do:** + Take direction from theManager, Facilities Management Services; + Drive themoving vehiclefor moves, deliveries, and pickups to otherclient locationsorother locations within the Metro area; + Drive themoving vehicleto recycle centres, disposal centres, and dumps; + Monitor the CMMS for approved work orders for Mover tasks; + Utilize the CMMS to manage and accurately record work effort; + Monitor, plan, and schedule work in advance of therequesteddate; + Expedite urgent and short notice requests; + Ensure early morningfurniture/roomsetups are completed in advance of therequestedtime; + Follow up on all work orders ensuring all tasks are performed to the satisfaction ofthe client; + Communicate with all stakeholders for clarification of tasks. Communication is paramount; + Meet with clients to gain a greater understanding of their requirements such as criticaltime lines,dates, locations, contact information of key requestor, scale of the request, recurrences, items tomove, task to complete, etc.; + Perform moves of furniture, supplies, equipment, and other items; + Complete meeting room and furniture moves, setups, and resets to defined configurations. + Completespecialclientevent tasks such as furniture moves, setups, and resets, etc.; + Perform light duties such as cleaning, garbage removal, and debris clean up; + Perform seasonal snow and ice removal atclient’s sites. The Lead Mover is a key resource in theseasonal snow and ice removal effort as defined inthe client’sSnow and Ice Removal Procedures; + Remove leaves and debris from library pits, stairs, and walkways between landscaper visits; + Assist the Building Operators and Journeyperson technicians when needed; + Assist the Courier Driver with loading and unloading the Couriervehiclewhen needed; + Post flyers and posters aroundthe facilitywhen requested + Disassemble furniture ifrequested; + Render down items and materials to divert materials to proper recycling streams; + Assemble and takesdown displays atdifferent locations; + Move large equipment on or offthe client’s site; + Perform minor indoor gardening tasks; + Clean out exterior courtyard drain grates; + May berequiredto travel and work at allclient sites; + Participate in meetings asrequired; and + Perform other duties as assigned. **What** **you’ll** **need** + Prior experiencemanaging moves and furniture setups. + Shall have a valid BC driver’s license. + Applicants must be currently authorized to work in Canada without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. **Why CBRE?** When you join CBRE, you become part of the global leader in commercial real estate services and investment that helps businesses and people thrive.
