Move Add Change Technician - JLL
What this job involves
This position supports Moves, Adds and changes in a traditional office setting at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Office space includes traditional offices, cubicles, and workstations as well as support areas such as conference rooms, work areas, lab spaces and team areas. Technician will assist with physical personnel relocations, new office setups, and changes to existing office furniture as well as maintaining functionality by repairing inefficiencies or malfunctions.
What your day-to-day will look like
Support personnel moves and workspace reconfigurations across the facilityRelocate office equipment including computers, desks, phones, and furniture components
Assemble, modify, and repair office furniture according to layout plans and AutoCAD drawings.Install furnishings and equipment on various surfaces (concrete, drywall, glass, etc.)Load, unload, and transport furniture and materials.Collaborate with third-party vendors during setup, maintenance, or repair activities.Follow all safety and housekeeping standards while maintaining organized work areas.Participate in required technical and safety training and perform other related tasks as neededRequired Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent1+ years of experience with furniture installation systems including surfaces and appropriate mounting techniquesExperience with drywall repair, patching, and painting techniques
Foster clear communication and collaboration across teams to ensure a seamless workplace experience.Physical requirements
Physical ability to perform a wide range of manual and technical tasks, including handling tools and materials weighing up to about 100 pounds while standing, walking, reaching, bending, and performing other essential movements.Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in pharmaceutical or manufacturing environmentsPrevious experience in corporate facilities or workplace services environments
Familiarity with AutoCAD prints and technical drawings.Location: Onsite
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm
