Description:

As a Rental Technician, you play a key role in ensuring our guests are properly equipped for an exceptional mountain experience. With a friendly, energetic attitude and solid product knowledge, you’ll assist guests in selecting, fitting, and returning their rental gear efficiently and safely. You’ll also stay up to date on resort events and services to keep guests well-informed during their visit.

 

Essential Functions:

Fit ski and snowboard boots to ensure comfort and safety. Adjust and set up skis and snowboards according to individual needs and manufacturer standards. Understand all rental gear options and make informed recommendations based on guests’ needs and skill levels. Assist with tuning and basic maintenance of rental equipment alongside ski technicians. Facilitate quick and accurate returns of rental gear at the end of the guest’s day. Consistently strive to exceed guest expectations through exceptional service. Respond promptly to any issues or concerns related to products or service. Operate the POS system with accuracy and efficiency. Complete daily operational tasks including cleanliness checks and inventory organization. Follow all cash handling and security procedures. Maintain knowledge of all Panorama resort services, products, and promotions.

 

Experience/Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a rental or repair shop is an asset. Solid knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment is essential. Prior cash handling experience preferred. Comfortable using computers and learning new systems. Physically capable of lifting and moving equipment up to 50 lbs. Able to work on your feet for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
