As a Café Clerk at Mountain Outfitters, you bring energy, versatility, and a commitment to exceptional guest service. You will prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, including specialty coffee and alcohol. While also supporting check-in, pick-up, assessing, and payment processing for ski and snowboard repair services. Whether working behind the counter or interacting with guests, you maintain a friendly, efficient, and professional presence at all times.

 

Essential Functions:

Prepare and serve a wide range of products, including pastries, specialty coffees, and alcoholic beverages. Advice guests on which repair or service option is best suited for their skis and snowboards. Deliver consistently high-quality products with a focus on presentation and efficiency. Operate multiple POS systems accurately for both café and repair shop transactions. Handle opening and closing responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations. Respond quickly and effectively to product or service issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all cash handling procedures and security protocols. Work independently and remain productive during quieter periods. Consistently exceed guest expectations with friendly and knowledgeable service. Stay up to date on all Panorama resort offerings, services, and promotions to assist guests.

 

Experience/Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. Previous barista experience is preferred. Strong cash handling skills and attention to detail. Comfortable operating various POS and computer systems. Positive, energetic, and guest-focused with strong communication skills. Able to stand for extended periods. Physically capable of lifting and moving equipment up to 50 lbs. Must have (or be willing to obtain): Serving It Right certification Food Safe certification Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in British Columbia
