Overview The opening is for a specialized AI unit that produces full AI generated or AI integrated work The motion designer is responsible for creating visual designs for various forms of content related to digital and broadcast. They will be responsible for designing visual and graphical identities that effectively convey / communicate the message and goals of the campaign while also understanding the brand architecture in order to resonate with the target audience. This may include videos, infographics, graphics, editing etc. The Motion Designer collaborates with other members of the AI team, such as; art director, copywriter and while working closely with other designers. Responsibilities Main Tasks Technical & Product The Motion Designer is responsible for the conceptualising and designing of content across a variety of asset types and communication channels. This role will partner closely various members of the AI team to deliver high-quality AI work. This role will allow for ample autonomy to shape the various types of motion design, animation, and animatics. This Designer will be responsible for the development of all agile content and ensure timely and quality delivery of work • Working on videos ( including editing ) and design elements that go into the final formulated AI work • Being aware and savvy at using AI in the generation of video and visual assets • Taking care of a project from the concept phase to the realization phase • Collaborating with other team members in the AI team Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency •Designing and producing video and graphic content for social media and digital, including animation & animatics • Editing skills to perfect video output • Ensuring consistency in motion design and video content across all company platforms. • Use of AI tools ( mainly video adn driven driven ones) to facilitate and improve the quality of work • Working from scamps or, on pure design-led projects, creating a range of cross-platform design work. Create designs that drive user acquisition and retention metrics across all channels • Working collaboratively with Creatives and designers on integrating the motion design work in the final work • Staying up to date with emerging design and AI trends with recommendations to adopt or upscale within the team • Articulating and presenting creative ideas/treatments Innovative & Analytical Mindset Recognizes opportunities and initiates actions to capitalize on them. Qualifications Education and Experience Required 3-5 years experience as a motion Designer with acquired skills in AI • Ability to create impressive short format broadcast, animation and animatics • Work across asset types ( video, animation, motion graphics); review existing content • Comfortable challenging briefs and asking the right questions to push work forward • Strong ideation and editorial skills – digitally native, understand what works in key digital platforms, yet able to think about the overall design and voice to break through anywhere • Detail-oriented – very diligent about keeping track of and properly naming files and versions based on the quick turn changes coming out of the daily check ins • Portfolio that showcases a variety professional motion design and video projects. The ideal candidate should have a great grasp motion, digital, and social in general. • Hands-on experience with creative graphic production design software and image editing software (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, After Effects) • Good knowledge and practice of AI generative tools • Critical Thinking / using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to opportunities • Ability to manage multiple creative projects • Experience working in an agency or in-house department • Have a good understanding of video, animation and motion design, and the use of AI tools to help generate it in better and more efficient way • An understanding of responsive design and how motion graphics and vidoe output can work across all devices – mobile, website, apps • Consistently conceptualize and formulate to a high standard with target audience in mind • Keep abreast of current video, AI, editing and motion design trends and implement these into your own work • Ensure that ideas and their motion interpretation are communicated clearly (in writing and verbally) to colleagues and clients Additional information R-3015 P-3412
