Job Description
A Fortune client is seeking an additional Scrum Master, with some Project Management duties, within LATAM or India. The scrum master will be responsible for two teams, 10-15 individuals each. Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Scrum Master leads Daily standups, Iteration planning meetings, Iteration reviews, Backlog Refinements and Iteration retrospectives. Ensures that these events run smoothly and efficiently.
Guides the team on SAFe Agile best practices
Ensures team follows WoW on the program
Reviews and manages good housekeeping of all Work items for team in ADO
Supports creation of Reports for work being implemented by Scrum team
Facilitates PI Planning for team including pre-planning, creation and management of ADO Dashboards and queries
Tracks and manages dependencies for team across multiple teams
Facilitates Team Risk and Issue management
Skillfully identifies and eliminates obstacles or distractions that may hinder the team from achieving its iteration and PI goals.
Advocates for the team and protects them from over-commitment and scope creep
Encourages collaboration within the team and across different roles
Fosters an environment where team members can work together transparently and effectively
Regularly analyzes burndown charts and other metrics to understand progress and delivery
Collaborates with RTE and other SMs
Works closely with Product Owner to ensure team is efficient in planning and completing commitments
Proactively recognizes and initiates Continuous Improvement for team and ART

Skills and Requirements
Experience as a Scrum Master in an enterprise level software release environment (ideally 5+ years)
SAFe Certified and Experience being part of an ART following SAFe
Experience working with larger teams in big programs using SAFe
Experience participating in PI Plannings as part of an ART
Proficient in using ADO
Experience facilitating and leading Agile Scrum Ceremonies
Ability to remove obstacles and distractions that might hinder the team from meeting its goals
Ability to learn and understand scope of work and follow up on risks and issues raised by the team
Ability to manage teams in dispersed geographic locations
Excellent written and oral communication
Proactive in approach
Comfortable working with senior leads
If not in same time zone, flexibility to cover US CST time zone till mid-day or longer as per need
Willingness to learn and do more for team as time permits Experience interacting with Business regularly
Experience with projects in Finance
