Job Summary and Responsibilities
As a Monitor Tech, you will be responsible for continuous observation and analysis of patients' cardiac rhythms to detect and report changes.
Every day you will meticulously monitor EKG strips, identify arrhythmias, measure intervals, and promptly communicate critical findings to nursing staff and healthcare providers, ensuring accurate documentation.
To be successful, you will demonstrate sharp observational skills, a thorough understanding of cardiac rhythms, and the ability to act quickly and precisely under pressure, crucial for patient safety and timely intervention.
Provides direct patient care as delegated by RN staff.Monitors and records vital signs.Assists in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs.Accurately measures, records, and reports intake and output.Obtains and records daily weight.Performs blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter.
