Job Description
You will report to the Team Lead Proposal Consulting.
You will work hybrid (every Mondays, Tuesday and Thursdays at the office).
Your Responsibilities:Employ commercial and technical skills while tapping your creative side to strategically align our solutions to meet client needs while simultaneously ensuring maximum profitability. You will evaluate the technical feasibility and commercial viability of proposed solutions, ensuring that each proposal strikes the optimal balance between delivering tailored, high-value solutions and safeguarding the company's profit margins.Work in a cross-functional environment – both commercially and technically – and engage with other Proposal Consultants, Application Consultants, Sales/Distributors, Channel Partners, RA Business Units, Contracts and Negotiations, and other key stakeholders as requiredNegotiate internally and externally leveraging a sound understanding of cost, value, and profit margin to establish pricing with approvalsConvincingly articulate our value message and business models in many scenarios and situationsWork with sales counterparts and provide input for Win Strategy processBe proficient in obtaining approvals in compliance with Rockwell policies including executive level approvalsCoordinate and manage legal terms and conditions as needed to support proposal delivery terms, which includes interfacing with the C&N legal and contracts team, third-party, and customersFollow all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory policies, and proceduresUnderstand and manage project reviews including risk analysisExplain commercial and technical aspects of proposals to customers while instilling confidence in the proposed solutionUtilize and maintain proposal templates and other tools on a regular basis as opportunities evolve, automate and streamline important activitiesThe Essentials - You Will Have:2+ years of experience (business development, sales engineering, consulting, project/program/account/customer success management)Good proposal management tool proficiencyNegotiation, abstraction, customer (internal and external) communication/relationship skillsAble to work in a cross-functional, global, international, fast paced environmentThe Preferred - You Might Also Have:Knowledge of life science industry or manufacturing products and applicationsWhat We Offer:Our benefits package includes …
