**Pay Rate:**
_The pay rate for this job is $17 - $17 / hour*_
**What you'll be doing as a Mold Remediation Worker:**
+ Set up and control molding machines to meet production specifications
+ Prepare molds for scheduled jobs, including insert changes and date code updates
+ Verify proper knockout length and pattern, nozzle and orifice sizing, and mold protection settings
+ Set clamp tonnage, core pull sequences, thermolator temperatures, and safety drop bars as required
+ Inspect and connect water lines; purge barrels as needed
+ Operate cranes and lifting equipment safely during mold changes
+ Perform injection molding operations and monitor machines while running
+ Troubleshoot molding machines to resolve process or mechanical issues quickly
+ Prepare molds for storage by cleaning, draining water, and applying rust protectant
+ Complete additional duties as assigned to support production goals

**Job requirements:**
+ Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady
+ Hands-on experience as a Mold Technician in a manufacturing or injection molding environment
+ Working knowledge of a variety of molds, molding machines, and related equipment
+ Proven experience with crane and lift operations
+ Strong attention to detail with a consistent focus on quality, safety, and process control
+ Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in an active production setting
+ Ability to stand, walk, reach, and use hands and arms for extended periods throughout the shift
+ Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds
+ Comfortable working around moving mechanical parts in a moderate-noise manufacturing environment
+ Background check and drug screening required
