Working behind the scenes in our manufacturing plants, machinists are vital to the success of our business at P&G. As a machinist, you will load, inspect, and run tooling and programs to a high complexity. You will do various types of work including set-up and operation of multiple CNC and lathe machines, using GD&T blueprints/ 3D solid models, loading, inspecting, and running tooling and programs to a high complexity (+/- .0005”), and performing in-process inspections.
Starting Pay / Salary Range: Starting rate of $38.36/hr or ~$79,700/yr ( + shift differential). Top-level technicians have the potential to earn up to $60.43/hr or ~$125,600/yr (+ shift differential) as you grow in the organization.
About the role: As a Mold & Die Technician, you will do various types of work, including running high-speed converting and packing equipment, controlling the process from a computer terminal, and performing preventive maintenance on equipment. This role will initially be located in South Boston and will transition to our Andover Manufacturing Center located ~25 miles north of Boston within the next five years. We expect all employees hired to make the transition to Andover as roles migrate to the new site.
You will be responsible for the following:Producing the highest quality products on time and at the lowest attainable cost by utilizing standardized tools, creation of standards and building capabilityWorking from CAD/CAM files, engineering drawings, sketches and or verbal instructions to perform highly diversified CNC operations to specificationsBuilding and editing semi-complex programs using CAD/CAM systems and machine controllersAssisting in training workforce in proper setup and use of equipment/systemsCorrecting any inadequacies in prints, materials and route sheetsMaintaining I-Quality standards related to work procedures and tool/machine maintenanceReasons you’ll love working here:

We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
