Job DescriptionTo ensure all prep items are prepared and stored to specifications.
Responsibilities Work pantry station by preparing salads for guestsControl quality and consistency of all food servedEnsure station is set for service 15 minutes prior to serviceEnsure all food supplies necessary for service are in appropriate supply on a timely basisAssist in controlling food costRequired to learn all menu items produced by assigned stationMaintain kitchen sanitation in accordance with health department guidelinesRequired to learn all menu items produced by assigned station.Perform work assignments to meet proper quantities within a necessary time frame.Refrigeration and serving of cold food.Maintain safe food handling procedures at all times Qualifications Basic prep cook experienceMinimal restaurant/hotel experienceBasic knife skills and food identificationKnowledge of basic food safety (temperature danger zones, sanitation, etc.)Must be able to stand for 8+ hours per dayFlexible scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidaysMust have an unexpired Food Handlers’ certification
