In this role you will drive sales in the Computed Tomography (CT) space across hospital care settings to improve patient care. The Modality Sales Specialist (MSS) is the knowledge expert on product, who supports Account Managers in driving overall business and product deal support by providing clinical and technical product (modality) expertise across the accounts.
Hospitals rely on having the right X-Ray equipment for patient diagnosis. As a Sales Specialist for Computed Tomography (CT), you will use your customer relationships to promote CT systems & products, driving business through analysis, planning & execution to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term profitability. In this collaborative role, you will work closely with a team of Sales Specialists, and as a Subject Matter Expert share your insights to the wider sales teams, help Marketing to localise assets and be part of the launch team, attending trade shows and exhibitions.
**Your role:**
+ Define and control the implementation of the business policy, pricing strategy and product/modality to be sold by the business unit (BU) in the region, according to established guidelines.
+ Working together with Account Managers (AM), the MSS will inform and recommend the latest technological innovations developed and its associated configurations, including the possible upgrades of the installed base, attending the complaints and inquiries made, in order to obtain a higher level of customer satisfaction and contribute to achieve the sales targets.
+ Assists AMs with customer presentations specifically focused on the clinical and technical components of the value proposition. Understand and address competitive positioning and marketing strategy of respective product / modality, and supports where needed in identification of the tender strategy and quotation
+ Supports the Account managers and District Managers in the achievement of business goals including balanced selling and financial targets and validating product forecasts.
+ Partners with Marketing to with input on sales tools, pricing issues and competitive threats which enable Marketing to best support the Specialists and provide input to the BG/BIU
+ Prepares and delivers accurate business forecasting on a monthly via accurate lead and opportunity management
+ Monitor competition and changes in the industry and provide effective feedback to the sales and marketing organizations that include suggestions for expanding product offerings.

**How we work together**
+ This is a field based UK&I national role, with territories to be aligned to Key Account Manager and shared equally between the MSS Team to ensure a fair and even split of the UKI territory. As this is a working from home and field based role, travel is frequent.
**You’re right for this role if you have the following:**
+ An appropriate and qualified clinical or technical background in Radiography & CT
+ You’ve acquired experience within medical device sales, ideally with radiology products & systems.
+ You’re an excellent communicator, with confidence to deliver presentations and develop internal and external stakeholder relationships at all levels.
+ You are a solution finder who is happy to work autonomously on competing deadlines in potentially pressured situations.
+ You hold UK driving license and are ideally based in the Midlands, North West of England
+ Due to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) criminal record check will be required for this role.
+ Flexibility and willingness to travel across the UK
