What's in it for you

As a Mobile FMD Technician you will be part of a team that maintains a fleet of vehicles for a contract customer providing service and maintenance. This role is part of the Fleet Management Division reporting to the FMD Operations and into the FMD business Stream.\u00A0 You will be required to have a flexible approach as you will be required to travel between customer sites within your dedicated area carry out routine maintenance and repairs on a customer fleet.

What you will do

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 To undertake comprehensive preventative maintenance and repair standards.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Correct fault diagnosis to ensure replacement parts are fitted correctly and warranty claims are in line with warranty terms.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Ensure full and complete end of shift handover including vehicle on or off-road status.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 Attend customer sites as required to carry out repairs.

\u00B7\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0\u00A0 To complete job cards, service sheets, timesheets, and any other relevant paperwork in an accurate, timely and efficient manner.

What you will bring

Desirable

- GCSE\u2019s in Mathematics and English, electrical and mechanical certificates NVQ in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience

- Experience of working in a mechanical environment, ability to read wiring diagrams and technical information

Essential \u2013 Mechanical Technical background with ability to work with minimal day to day supervision, computer literate, excellent oral and written communication skills.
