We are currently seeking a highly responsible and motivated individual to join our team as a Mobile Security - Municipal Law Enforcement Officer. This is a full-time overnight position where you will be responsible for conducting mobile patrols and enforcing municipal by-laws within the city of Peterborough.

Position Type: Full-Time - Night Shift (2300 hrs – 0700 hrs)

Responsibilities for Mobile Security Guard in Peterborough

Conduct regular mobile security patrols throughout designated areas of the city

Enforce municipal by-laws, including but not limited to noise, property standards, and public nuisance regulations

Perform parking enforcement duties, including issuing parking tickets and coordinating towing services when necessary

Respond to calls for service and maintain accurate records of incidents

Communicate professionally with the public, emergency services, and other stakeholders

Complete detailed and timely reports at the end of each shift

Qualifications for Mobile Security Guard

Valid Ontario Security Guard License (required)

Minimum G2 Driver’s License (clean driving record preferred)

Valid First Aid & CPR Certification (required)

Strong knowledge of municipal by-laws and enforcement procedures is an asset

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills

Ability to work independently during overnight shifts and in varying weather conditions

Must be reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and conduct
