Job Title: Mobile Application Developer (SDET) Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Application Developer with expertise in developing and prototyping Android and iOS applications for both phone and tablet platforms. This role involves working on internal and external applications, ensuring high-quality testing and releasing apps to the app store. Responsibilities + Develop and prototype Android and iOS customer applications for both phone and tablet use. + Participate in the full app life-cycle: develop automation scripts, test, and release to the app store. + Collaborate with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimations. + Stay updated with current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms. + Drive best practices approach to continuously improve products, processes, and tools. + Write and maintain documentation for all features in development. + Collaborate with the design team to define app features. + Ensure the quality and performance of the applications meet specifications. + Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks. + Fix application bugs before the final release. + Publish applications on the App Store. + Maintain the code and automate the application processes. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering. + 5-7 years of experience in Android/iOS development using Kotlin and/or Java. + Expertise in Android native test automation solutions using Kotlin. + Development experience in frameworks using Java/Selenium. + Experience in writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium. + Proficient in Kotlin, Objective-C, and Web Services. + Extensive knowledge of Xcode and C-based libraries. + Familiarity with biometrics, push notifications, and Camera APIs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with continuous integration and unit tests. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment. + Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution. + Proficient in code versioning tools including Git and Bitbucket. + Nice to have testing experience on iOS and Android applications. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC. (Candidates must be local to Charlotte, NC) Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.06 - $65.06/hr.
