What this job involves:This position focuses on operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility equipment with an emphasis on HVAC/R systems. You'll be responsible for inspecting and maintaining mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment to ensure optimal efficiency and minimal downtime. The role requires technical expertise in HVAC and refrigeration, along with versatile skills in electrical systems, plumbing, and material handling equipment to successfully manage daily maintenance tasks.Your day-to-day tasks will include:Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systemsOperating, maintaining, and repairing HVAC/R systems, electrical distribution equipment, and plumbing systemsConducting facility inspections and reporting on conditions that impact client occupancy and operationsCompleting hazard assessments and maintaining compliance with safety procedures and local regulationsUpdating work orders in real-time using CMMS systems like CorrigoCommunicating and escalating issues to customers and management promptlyPerforming building interior/exterior repairs and maintaining related grounds and production equipmentDesired experience and technical skills:Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent work experienceMinimum of four (4) years technical experience in building engineering with a strong HVAC/R backgroundUniversal CFC recovery certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)Valid state driver's licenseStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift up to 80 lbsCapacity to work at heights, climb ladders (up to 30 feet), and perform in adverse weather conditionsAvailability for on-call work as neededPreferred:3rd Party CertificationTwo years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration, and HVACWorking knowledge of computer applications, including Word and Excel

Must be available for Call-in work and perform other duties as required.
