Mobile Facilities Technician
Job Title: Mobile Facilities Technician

Job Description

Responsible for delivering effective, efficient, and timely services to multiple customers within an assigned geographic territory. You will travel to various customer sites to maintain commercial properties, performing preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and general service of buildings, equipment, and grounds. You will build 'face-to-face' relationships with customers, providing quality workmanship and maintaining high work standards. A company vehicle and tools are provided.

ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance and repairs per work order requirements.Conduct minor plumbing maintenance, such as repairing and unclogging toilets and urinals, and maintaining valve assemblies and faucet fixtures.Execute routine painting and carpentry work to maintain facilities in like-new condition.Repair and perform maintenance on walls, floors, and doors, and perform necessary painting and touch-ups.Conduct minor electrical maintenance as allowed without a license within state law requirements, including repairing or replacing fixtures, switches, and outlets.Complete service inspections and asset inspections as needed.Essential SkillsProficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting.Experience in facilities maintenance for commercial or high-rise apartment buildings.Ability to use computers, tablets, and work order systems.Mechanically inclined with skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, troubleshooting, and facility maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in building automation and HVAC control systems.Must have a valid lic and a clean driving recordMust have a High School Diploma Why Work Here?

Work Environment

You will be working across seven different sites, including several school locations. The role requires weekend availability. We currently have two openings, one is from 5:00 am to 12:30 pm and the other from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
