Bulyanhulu Gold Mine is seeking to recruit a Mobile Equipment Operator II-UG to join and grow our team. This role is responsible for rock sampling, core handling and logging, Geological mapping, headings back marking and plotting of geological information in both plan and section .

Reporting to: Mobile Equipment Operator II-UG

Duration: Permanent

Responsibilities:

Perform Field Level Risk Assessments and Entry Examinations at the work areas and ensure the health and safety of team members, visitors and contractors at the working area. 

Tramping equipment to designated area 

Perform hauling activities 

Record and Reporting all activities in every end of shift   

Operate multiple HME equipment types in safe way and report all faults  

Identify and control efficiencies & delays 

Perform towing activities             

Minimize all foreign material from entering plant grizzly circuit 

Assist with maintenance when required 

Ensure that facilities and equipment are being used safely and that appropriate work method is being applied. 

Complete operational and maintenance check sheets as per requirements for all assigned equipment  

Qualification Requirements:

Ordinary Diploma in Exploration and Mining Geology

Valid Driving License

Good computer skills, Data mine software, MS office software and/or other mining software’s

Knowledge in various sampling methods, core handling and logging

Geological mapping, headings back marking and plotting of geological information in both plan and section.

Knowledge of grade control practices

Good communication written and verbal

 Experience and Skills Requirements:

•   Minimum 3 years working experiences in exploration/mining industry
