Minimum Qualifications Two years of experience in mobile equipment operations. Job Duties and Other Information Job Duties: + Operates various heavy equipment such as excavator, 9ton dozer, and 10-ton vibratory soil compactor roller. + Provides labor and operates various equipment such as pumps, sprayers, compressors, and generators in maintenance tasks of the levee system + These tasks include spraying herbicide along cross fencing, building and repairing fencing, remove debris from rights of ways, and repairing irrigation gates + Assist the technical staff in removal and installation of 3 phase 2400- volt electric motors and 50,000 gpm pumps at various pump station and in the maintenance of high voltage switchgear testing and cleaning at 3 pump stations + supervises up to 2 operators as needed for small repair and maintenance work Position-Specific Details: Appointment Type: Probational Work Schedule:Work hours are 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
