Dynamic Exposure: Immerse yourself in our business units, including Human Resources, Revenue Management, Communications, Finance and Accounting, IT, and Marine Operations. 

Hands-On Experience: Over 10 weeks, you'll actively contribute to impactful projects, challenge and enhance processes, and gain firsthand insights into our daily operations. 

Mentorship: Receive mentorship and guidance from Carnival's seasoned professionals, paving the way for your professional growth.

Key Details: 

Hybrid Program: This internship is a hybrid program based in Miami, Florida. Students must be available for the entire duration of the program and willing to work a hybrid schedule, combining both in-office and remote work. This is a full-time opportunity, with interns working 40 hours per week. While hours may vary, interns can expect to work from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. 

Relocation Support: Carnival provides housing for interns who are relocating to Miami for the summer. 

Eligibility: Juniors, seniors, and graduate students are preferred for the program. 

Technical Requirements: Interns will be provided with a company-issued laptop and will need reliable internet when working remotely. 

We are looking for a motivated Mobile Developer Intern to join our team and contribute to building high-quality applications. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mobile development while working alongside experienced engineers. 

Project Work & Responsibilities 

Contribute to real-world mobile applications that serves our guest across different ships. 

Work on projects across iOS, Android, or cross-platform frameworks (Android/iOS, Ionic, or MAUI). 

Help design, build, and test new features that directly impact guests and crew members. 

Assist with debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance in mobile apps. 

Experiment with AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and innovation. 

Present your progress and project outcomes to the team, showcasing your contributions and impact. 

Expectations & Qualifications 

Coursework or experience in programming, data structures, and algorithms. 

Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Swift, C#, Typescript). 

An interest in mobile development (iOS, Android). 

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

A collaborative mindset and willingness to ask questions and learn from feedback. 

Preferred but not required: 

Hands-on projects with Android studio or Xcode. 

Exposure to cross-platform technologies such as React native, Compose Multiplatform,  or MAUI. 

Experience with Git or other version control tools. 

Curiosity about or experience with AI tools for software development.
