Job Title: Mixing Operator-$22.00

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and mixing various powders according to specific recipes, operating mixing machinery, and ensuring accurate documentation of mixtures. This role involves heavy lifting, forklift operation, and adherence to safety protocols.

ResponsibilitiesScoop out powders from 50-pound boxes and measure/weigh specific amounts according to recipes.Dump powders into caldrons, turn on mixing machines, and monitor the mixing process.Operate a sit-down forklift daily to transport materials.Use a computer to document and enter data on mixtures.Prepare and mix three different kinds of mixtures, each mixture taking about 4 hours.Work independently throughout the day.Aim to hit weekly goals for the number of batches produced. Receive a list of required batches every Monday.While batches are mixing, start preparing other mixtures, operating three separate mixing machines.Pick up and move boxes as needed, palletize drums, and move materials (laborious work).Empty mixtures into drums, load them onto pallets, and use a forklift to transport drums to the storage room.Implement FIFO method by pulling older drums to the front and placing newer drums at the back in the storage room.Essential SkillsExperience operating a sit-down forklift.General labor skills including heavy lifting.Computer savvy, capable of data entry.Ability to read and write in English.Experience in palletizing, mixing, and production.Additional Skills & QualificationsMust have prior labor experience.Experience operating machinery is required.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
