Job details The Mixing Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient transport of raw materials from storage to the production floor and loading them into mixing equipment. Inventory & Documentation: Recording material usage in a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and maintaining precise logs to track batch numbers and remaining stock levels.

Equipment Maintenance & Safety: Performing daily pre-operation inspections on forklifts and cleaning mixing equipment between product changeovers to prevent cross-contamination.

Working hours: 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
Certified Forklift Operation: Proficiency in operating various industrial trucks, such as counterbalance and reach forklifts, typically requiring OSHA-compliant certification.

Inventory Management: Experience using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and handheld scanners to track material movement and maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) standards.

Equipment Maintenance: Conducting daily pre-operation inspections and performing minor troubleshooting on both forklifts and mixing equipment.Attention to Detail: Critical for detecting small changes in material quality and ensuring the correct weight of additives.

Basic Mathematics: Proficiency in basic math to calculate weights, quantities, and reconcile inventory levels.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs (or more depending on the industry) repeatedly.
