**Job Title: Production Operator**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a Production Operator where you will play a crucial role in manufacturing high-quality printing ink. We are seeking individuals for 3rd shift positions in our Canning line/packout and Batchweigher/Mixer areas. Comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate to operate machinery and perform TPM activities.
**Responsibilities**
+ Run batches of ink at proper mill settings.
+ Package finished product in various containers and apply labels.
+ Clean and maintain machines to TPM standards.
+ Learn and apply TPM knowledge to daily activities.
+ Weigh-Up Batches: Shift auto and manual steps, and follow the process order of addition.
+ Mix Batch: Discharge pigment and operate mixer safely, adhering to all INX Mixer SOPs.
+ Operate Hockmeyer mill and maintain optimum overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) standards.
+ Create and maintain a database of all existing formulas including processing times.
+ Operate press out unit, pump filter equipment, and forklift.
+ Serve as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data.
+ Complete scheduled maintenance and troubleshooting procedures.
+ Assist with repacks.
**Essential Skills**
+ 6+ months of production experience.
+ 3+ months of machine operating experience.
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
+ Willingness to learn.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Forklift experience is preferred, but training is available.
+ Background in mixing, machine operation, and pump filter industry is beneficial.

**Work Environment**
Work in a manufacturing facility that produces ink, equipped with a uniform to protect personal clothing. Employees have access to a locker room and other accommodations. Shift differentials are offered, with $1 for 2nd shift and $1.50 for 3rd shift.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Edwardsville, Kansas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
