Mitigation Coordinator - Balkans

JOB PURPOSE

This role exists to execute demand and supply planning activities and projects for the Balkan countries - including innovation, portfolio changes, repacking, and obsolete management. It carries accountability for S&OP, operational planning processes, collaboration with Business teams, stock availability, and financial follow‑up.

It also exists to execute selected cross‑country repeatable tasks to support the Balkan Planning Team Lead. The role establishes strong connections with Country Business Teams, Distributors, and Genpact Planning Teams to ensure alignment on stock allocation policies, resolution of cross‑functional short‑term supply issues, and support for the local business waste agenda. It analyzes the Business Waste Report and triggers appropriate actions for disposal or offering products to Customers and Traders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Aligns stock allocation policies with Country BU teams to ensure reservations and prioritizations are processed.

Provides feedback to the Balkan Planning Team Lead and Planning Manager on major risks and opportunities.

Supports the Balkan Planning Team Lead in innovation management and portfolio changes.

Manages supply chain communication with Balkan countries and internal departments.

Coordinates smaller crises, such as product availability or quality issues.

Identifies, quantifies, and triggers short‑term Out‑of‑Stock (OOS) or stock risks and escalates them to the Market Supply Planner / DRP Planner / Repack Planner, who drive the resolution.

Checks and confirms Distributor orders and manages stock allocation between Balkan countries and Bulgarian customers.

Monitors customer service performance, analyses losses at relevant intervals, and initiates corrective actions.

Supports Country BU discussions with a deep understanding of the market.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

University/College degree in Economics

Functional knowledge across Supply Chain, Customer Development, Finance, and Customer/Channel operations

Fluent Hungarian and English proficiency

High proficiency in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Power BI basics, SAP, Kinaxis, Livewire (RTVA)

Solid data analytics skills, including the ability to interpret complex information and translate insights into actions.

Experience in inventory management and understanding of drivers impacting stock levels and availability.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Strong business partnering capabilities with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and markets.

Proven problem‑solving abilities and readiness to manage exceptions and short‑term challenges.

Ability to perform scenario‑based and exception‑based planning to support dynamic business needs.

Annual Salary: 8 080 000 - 10 100 000 HUN
