Key Responsibilities Manage laboratory operations, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards. Liaise with clients to ensure quality service delivery and resolve concerns. Forecast and manage resource needs, equipment, and budgets. Lead and develop teams, promoting accountability and continuous improvement. Prepare and manage operational budgets, driving cost-efficiency and profitability. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a mining, heavy machinery, laboratory, or technical environment. Certification in ISO 17025 laboratory systems required. Additional certifications in project management, method validation, or auditing are advantageous. Experience in managing a business or unit with significant annual revenue. Practical knowledge of laboratory equipment and operational processes. Demonstrated experience in team leadership and performance management. Skills Required Technical problem-solving and equipment troubleshooting. Leadership and mentoring abilities. Project and resource management. Financial planning and budget control. Knowledge of safety and environmental standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001). Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
