Job Title: MIG Welder

Pay: $20-$25

Job Description

Utilize your expertise in MIG welding techniques to weld steel stud frames, walls, and roofs, ensuring the creation and assembly of all secondary and supporting components for enclosures. You will also be responsible for welding steel tanks and assembling walls around fuel tanks. Testing welds for leaks and completing spot welds where necessary will be crucial. Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure that all welding work meets the required specifications.

Responsibilities

Use MIG welding techniques to weld steel stud frames, walls, and roofs.Assemble and weld walls around fuel tanks.Test welds for leaks and perform spot welds as needed.Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure compliance with specifications.

Essential Skills

Minimum 3 years of MIG welding experience.Experience with light and medium gauge fabrication.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance.Proficiency in reading tape measures and computing basic math.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ability to interpret shop drawings.AWS Certification.Certified Flux Core welder.Technical degree or certification.

Work Environment

Work primarily at the Barnesville location, which is a non-climate-controlled environment. This site aims to expand and potentially support all three shifts in the future. Currently, 1st shift operates from 6 AM to 2 PM, and 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday, with additional 6-hour shifts on Saturdays during busy periods.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $52000.00/yr.
