**Job Title: Welder** Pay: $32/hr **Job Description** As a Fabricator/Welder, you will be responsible for assembling and welding various metal components. You must have the ability to weld a variety of materials, including cast, steel, and stainless steel, and apply all types of welding processes, such as TIG, MIG, and stick welding. Creativity is essential to meet customer needs and specifications. Additionally, you are expected to record all necessary data to achieve the desired service or design outcomes, including sizing and illustrations. **Responsibilities** + Maintain a clean and organized work area. + Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. + Perform high-quality and consistent welds daily. + Interpret shop fabrication drawings accurately. + Read a tape measure proficiently. + Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of metal fabrication experience with welding in Flux-core and MIG. + Experience in tank fabrication and welding. + Proficient in MIG welding, including .035 hard wire roots, Flux core, hard wire root, fill, and cap weld. + Experience in dual shield, TIG welding, and stainless steel. + Grinding experience. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder or similar role. + Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes and equipment. + Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications. + Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. + Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in fabrication work. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a diverse work experience with opportunities to engage in a variety of welding tasks, such as pipe welding, stairs, and ladders. Personal protective equipment such as steel-toed boots and a hood are required, and tools like a square, two-hole pins, level, and tape measure are used regularly. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
