Job Description
Join a dynamic team in a medium-sized metal fabrication facility, specializing in stainless steel and aluminum. As a full-line distributor, we stock a wide range of materials including plate, sheet, angles, rounds, flat bar, tubing, and pipe. We are seeking skilled welders who are eager to grow and learn. Comprehensive in-house training on all machines will be provided.
ResponsibilitiesPerform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum materials.Participate in manufacturing, production, and assembly processes.Read and interpret blueprints for accurate welding and fabrication.Utilize press breaks and sheet metal tools to achieve desired product specifications.Engage in fitting, stick welding, and grinding as required.Ensure high-quality welds through flux core and TIG welding techniques.Essential Skills2+ years of experience in MIG welding.Proficiency in working with stainless steel and aluminum.Experience with MIG and TIG welding, including pedal and button TIG.Additional Skills & QualificationsBlueprint reading and interpretation.Experience in manufacturing and production environments.Familiarity with sheet metal and press break operations.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a medium-sized metal fabrication facility with a distribution center. The environment is clean but non-air-conditioned. Our team consists of 7 members, with a total of 50 people on-site. Shifts are available as 4/10's starting at 7 am or a weekend shift (Friday 12 hours, Saturday 12 hours, Sunday 12 hours, Monday 4 hours). Work attire includes covered shoes, work shirts, and jeans. Work uniforms are provided. The facility is located at 10111 Houston Oaks Dr., Houston, TX.

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
