**Job Title: MIG Welder**
**Job Description**
Join our team where you will build and install dust collection and ventilation systems. You will primarily engage in MIG welding on custom parts, working with mostly thin gauge materials in the manufacturing process for heavy manufacturing companies. Your role involves welding stainless, carbon steel, and other light gauge materials, ensuring precision in duct and related material fabrication.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG welding on custom parts using thin gauge materials.
+ Read prints and perform layout, tacking, and welding seams.
+ Collaborate with fabricators and operate shears, press brakes, grinders, rollers, saws, and other sheet metal fabrication equipment.
+ Work with 16 to 14 gauge sheet metal and duct work, maintaining excellent tape measure skills and blueprint reading experience.
+ Adapt to different product requirements in a custom job shop environment.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 2 years of experience in MIG welding in a custom environment.
+ Experience with thin gauge metal fabricating.
+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and using a tape measure.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with press operators, plasma cutters, drills, saws, and other metal fabricating tools.
+ Solid welding experience with prior MIG welding ability.

**Work Environment**
Work in a vibrant metal shop where welding and fabricating create a dynamic atmosphere filled with noise and smell typical of such settings. This is a custom job shop environment that requires adaptability to different needs and product requirements. The schedule includes 11-12 hour shifts from Monday to Friday, starting at 5am, with potential for overtime. Enjoy a collaborative and supportive team culture.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Denver, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
