**Job Title: MIG Welder** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves setting up and operating MIG welding tools and working with 16-gauge sheet metal. Ideal candidates will have flexibility in grinding and related tasks. **Responsibilities** + Set up and operate MIG welding tools efficiently. + Perform MIG welding on 16-gauge sheet metal. + Maintain flexibility in grinding tasks as required. + Read and understand specification sheets and work orders including blueprints. + Layout and load materials using basic math and handheld measuring tools. + Operate and maintain handheld welding tools. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG welding. + Experience with grinding, production, and metalworking. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specification sheets. + 3+ years of manufacturing experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with metalworking and hollow metal fabrication is preferred. + Dexterity with manufacturing equipment, basic power tools, and machinery. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire position where you will be treated as a permanent employee from day one.
