Position Summary
In this role as a MIE FEOL Engineer, you'll be responsible for leading projects within a high performing team. You'll be involved in various special projects and task forces that have a significant impact on Samsung Austin Semiconductor's business.Role and Responsibilities
Here's What You'll Be Responsible For:
Leading projects related to incoming technology transfer, productization, new product introductions, yield improvement, stop loss reduction, cycle time reductions and other KPI improvements.
Designing, executing, and analyzing experiments
Utilizing software to analyze data including statistical analysis; Consulting with leadership team on experimental results in order to make decisions about large scale changes.
Leading / participating in Task Force Teams.
Responsible for critical or complex steps or layers in the wafer fabrication process.
Developing Change Point Management Plans.
Communicating technical information to senior leadership outside of the department through presentations.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related field is required.
Experience with Electrical Engineering, Materials Sciences, and Physics expertise within semiconductor field
Prior knowledge in all unit processes including thin films deposition, lithography, etch, diffusion, wet process, and CMP.
Demonstrated understanding of the interactions between process and yield, product performance and reliability.
Expert understanding of overall process flow in assigned areas.
Additional Preferred Skills Include:
300mm 16nm/14nm/10nm nodes (or below) wafer manufacturing technology experience
Experience in optimizing Fin, PC and Source/Drain Junctions modules processes for manufacturability and yield
Experience in Yield or Process Integration in semiconductor manufacturing
Experience with LSI manufacturing
Experience within 1 or more Unit Parts / Process Manufacturing groups i
Experience with FEOL Process Integration
The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090 Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
