Midwest Embedded AI Sales Specialist

Part of a team, you'll be surrounded by bright minds and keen co-creators - always willing to help and be helped - as you apply passion to work that will compel our clients to invest in IBM's products and services. **Your role and responsibilities** * Identify and qualify potential partners and clients for embedded IBM AI technology within your assigned scope (territory, industry, accounts). * Proactively engage with target organizations to understand their strategic priorities, product roadmaps, and potential use cases for embedded AI. * Articulate the business and technical value proposition of embedding IBM AI technology to prospective partners and clients. * Drive the end-to-end sales process for embedded AI partnerships, from initial contact through to deal closure. * Collaborate closely with IBM Technical Pre-Sales teams to scope and deliver technical demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts (POCs). * Work with IBM Legal and Business Development teams to negotiate partnership agreements. * Build and maintain strong relationships with key business and technical stakeholders at partner and client organizations. * Contribute to pipeline development, sales forecasting, and reporting for embedded AI opportunities. * Collaborate with IBM sales teams, marketing, and industry experts to identify and pursue partnership opportunities. * Stay informed about IBM's AI offerings, the competitive landscape, and trends in technology embedding and relevant industries. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Experience in enterprise technology sales, with a focus on software, cloud, or solutions selling. * Experience in business development, partnerships, or channel sales is a strong plus. * Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas. * Ability to understand and articulate technical concepts and value propositions, particularly related to AI or other complex software. * Experience managing complex sales cycles and negotiating agreements. * Strong prospecting and new business development skills. * Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to build rapport and establish trust with potential partners and clients. * Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. * Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience selling or partnering around AI or Machine Learning solutions. * Experience working with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) or technology companies on embedding solutions. * Familiarity with IBM's AI portfolio (e.g., watsonx). * Experience selling into specific industries relevant to IBM's AI strategy. * Experience working in a large, matrixed organization.
