About The Job
The Red Hat Consulting Services team is looking for a Middleware Associate Consultant with significant experience in JEE.
In this role, you will use our unique middleware applications capabilities for DevOps, continuous integration (CI), and cloud-based development consulting projects. You will participate in customer enterprise development by helping make our solutions both practical and workable for customer businesses.
You’ll support the on-site or remote implementation of Red Hat’s technologies. As a Middleware Consultant, you will work to gain an understanding of the infrastructure and business needs of our customers, make recommendations and execute action plans to deliver projects. You will support the resolution of their problems, and help them make strategic decisions.
What You Will Do:
Help with the implementation of different projects on the scope
Address the middleware development, focusing on microservices and APIs
Develop effective and efficient solutions that provide desired performance
Support the workflow among middleware development teams, users, and yourself
Analyze and fix existing code base to address new requirements
In this role, you will participate in the customer enterprise development by helping make our solutions both practical and workable for customer businesses.
You’ll support the on-site implementation of Red Hat’s technologies.
Apply and support your experience in devops strategy.
You’ll work to gain an understanding of the infrastructure and business needs of our customers, make recommendations that will lead to the resolution of their problems, and help them make strategic decisions.
What You Will Bring:
2+ years of experience as a middleware consultant
Experience with microservices environments
Experience with software containers and with implementing software containers
Knowledge in JEE.
Knowledge with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Observer
Experience with Java’s Spring Framework and Spring Boot
Knowledge Apache Camel frameworks, or similar
English proficiency; upper intermediate-advanced verbal, written, and reading
Ability to work in a high-performance and dynamic environment
