Modesto Christian (MC) is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English teacher and collaborative team member to join our school community. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of middle and high school English content, which includes grammar, writing, general literature, American literature, and British literature. As a result, he/she will be able to meet the educational needs of a diverse range of students, while also engaging them in developmentally appropriate ways. Additionally, the teacher must demonstrate a strong understanding of Biblical teachings and values, as they will be expected to present content with a Biblical worldview. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be committed to integrating Christian values into their teaching. As an English teacher, the candidate will be responsible for developing captivating lesson plans, promoting critical thinking skills, and nurturing students' spiritual growth. The teacher will also be expected to maintain a positive and effective classroom environment that aligns with the school's policies and philosophy. He/she must also be eager to support our mission to develop Christ-like leaders through excellence in academics, athletics, and the arts.
