What You'll Do

As a member of the Middle East Finance team in this temporary role lasting from March 2026 to March 2027 the Accounting Manager will lead a team of two Accounting Specialists and oversee core accounting, financial audit, treasury, banking, and insurance activities across Middle East entities. This is a hands-on leadership role with a strong focus on financial close, audit readiness, and the successful delivery of interim and year-end audits, including the timely issuance of statutory financial statements. The role emphasizes strong controls, accuracy, and continuous process and system improvements across the accounting function.


Your responsibilities include:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Middle East Accounting team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of accounting activities across multiple legal entitiesLead and manage the full financial close cycle, including month-end and year-end close processesOwn the preparation, coordination, and successful execution of interim and year-end financial audits across Middle East entitiesAct as the primary regional point of contact for external auditors, managing audit planning, fieldwork, issue resolution, and final sign-offEnsure timely and accurate preparation and issuance of statutory financial statements in accordance with local regulatory requirements and BCG policies for all Middle East entitiesReview and approve key accounting outputs, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedulesEnsure balance sheet accounts are complete, accurate, and audit-readyOversee intercompany accounting activities, including settlements, reconciliations, and coordination with global counterpartsOversee and ensure the timely issuance and accuracy of bank guarantees, including appropriate monitoring, reconciliation, and documentation in coordination with banking partners and internal stakeholdersOversee cash forecasting and cash pooling activities in coordination with treasury and banking partners to support effective liquidity management across Middle East entitiesLead regional insurance renewal and client-specific insurance activities in coordination with the Global Insurance Team and external brokers, ensuring accurate and timely issuance of insurance documentation for all Middle East entitiesManage financial data requests, disclosures, and information requests from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and appropriate approvalsCoach, guide, and mentor Accounting Specialists, building strong technical, audit, and control capabilities within the teamPartner closely with the Global Finance & Operations Services (GF&OS) team supporting core accounting and audit activities, ensuring clear ownership, effective coordination, and timely, high-quality financial and audit deliverablesDrive process and system improvements to strengthen controls, efficiency, and scalability of accounting operationsManage day-to-day escalations and act as a business partner on accounting, audit, and compliance mattersCoordinate closely with AP, Payroll, Tax, and Global Finance teams to ensure end-to-end financial accuracy and alignmentSupport on ad hoc projects and tasks as required

What You'll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field7+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably within a professional services firm or multinational environmentProfessional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or equivalent) strongly preferredProven experience managing financial close processes, interim and year-end audits, and statutory financial statement issuanceStrong technical knowledge of general accounting, financial controls, and audit requirements; treasury exposure is an advantageDemonstrated people-management experience, including coaching, performance management, and team developmentStrong analytical skills and attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in EnglishAbility to work effectively with senior stakeholders and under pressureAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and finance systems, preferably SAPHigh standards of professional ethics and ability to respect all BCG information as sensitive and confidential

Who You'll Work With

You will work closely with the wider Finance Team and Global counterparts, and report to the Accounting Director.
