As a Mid Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing secure, end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles in cloud environments. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to design and implement containerization solutions using Kubernetes or Docker. A key aspect of your role will involve building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, ensuring a smooth, secure software update process. Additionally, you will apply GitOps principles for software delivery automation, ensuring that systems are both efficient and secure. Key Responsibilities:

Work across multiple technology stacks, gaining hands-on experience with various languages, frameworks, and tools to support a broad range of applicationsWork in languages such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, and GoLang, among other languages to deliver industry standard application functionalityWork with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, Mongo DB, Oracle, MySQL, and othersDesign, develop, and implement secure, end-to-end Kubernetes or Docker-based cluster and application lifecyclesParticipate in software development using CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on security and automation Collaborate with clients and internal teams to architect containerized solutions and cloud-native applicationsApply GitOps principles for automated and reliable deployment processesImplement DevSecOps best practices, ensuring security is integrated at every stage of the development lifecycleEnsure effective log management and use analytics tools for system monitoring and optimizationDevelop and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) to automate security checks, deployment processes, and routine DevOps taskLeverage AWS cloud services and other cloud platforms to ensure system reliability, scalability, and securityContribute to the development of secure network configurations and cloud-based security architectureMaintain strong familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologies to enhance operational efficiencyAssist in implementing Service Mesh solutions (e.g., Istio) to support secure and efficient service-to-service communicationsCollaborate with teams using version control systems like GitLab, and work with automation tools like Ansible, Maven, and GradleStay current with cloud technologies, industry best practices, and evolving security threats to recommend innovative solutionsMaintain infrastructure using IaC/CaC

Required:

Security Clearance: Must have an active U.S. government Secret security clearance or higher, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain3-5 years of experience developing web-based applications3-5 years of experience with Kubernetes or DockerDevelop and implement end-to-end cluster and application lifecyclesExperience working in AWS and cloud technologiesExperience working with Agile, Agile XP, DevOps, and DevSecOps methodologiesExperience with HTML, JavaScript, Vue.Js, Angular and or ReactExperience with scripting languages Python, Bash, PowershellNetworking experienceExperience or knowledge of Service-Mesh, such as IstioExperience working with version control systems like GitlabExperience in software systems development using CI/CD pipelinesStrong problem-solving skillsPassionate about automation, system efficiency, and securityExperience with Log Management and Analytics toolsProficient in tools like AWS Cloud Services, Gitlab, Ansible, Maven, GradleExperience with Unit/Integration TestingExperience with Test Driven DevelopmentFamiliarity with Infrastructure as Code
