Summary: Seeking a Mid Level Software Engineer with expertise in C/C++, Linux, and hardware communication for onsite development and maintenance of software applications.

5-10 years of experience; relevant degree counts towards experience

Proficiency in C/C++

Strong debugging skills

Experience with Git for version control

Strong knowledge of Linux and CLI

Low level hardware communication (cameras, sensors, linear stages)

Knowledge of FPGA and GPU (CUDA)

U.S. citizen

Ability to obtain security clearance

Preferred Skills:

BSc or higher in Computer Science or Software Engineering; associates degree considered with experience

Strong math skills

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Julia

Knowledge of high-speed control systems

Computer vision, image processing, DSP

Passion for astronomy and laser communications

Responsibilities:

Analyze and maintain existing software applications

Contribute to maturation of new and existing software products through collaborative development

Discover and fix programming bugs

Produce required software modules according to schedule requirements

Write and contribute to reports including design documentation and operational specifications

Deal directly with customers through briefings, presentations, meetings, and conferences

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
