The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Software Developer to join the team in Hazelwood, MO; Chicago, IL; Mesa, AZ; North Charleston, SC; or Seattle, WA. 

The Corporate Shared Systems build team provides comprehensive software solutions to rapidly access and visually transform complex engineering and manufacturing product data. Responsibilities include development and integration for a variety of Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) and in-house software applications supporting our corporate function teams. Job requires working within a diverse team of skilled and motivated co-workers to collaborate on results. Other qualities for this candidate are a positive attitude, self-motivated, the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. 

The role involves leading and performing the design, program, test, implementation and documentation of complex computing applications, leading analysis of end user processes to define application requirements, writing and compiling complex code based on documented design or designs application architecture that integrates application software and delivery subsystems for specific applications, Identifying and resolving complex programming or application architecture problems, and recommending improvements.  

Position Responsibilities:

Drive the team's goals and technical direction to pursue opportunities that make your larger organization more efficient

Communicate complex features and systems in detail

Understand industry and company-wide trends to help assess and develop new technologies

Partner and collaborate with organization leaders to help improve the level of performance of the team and organization

Create consumer products and features on a large scale

Partner closely with infrastructure and operations teams to build and scale back-end services

Understand the development and testing of small to medium projects including schedules, progress reporting to ensure implementations that are on time, within budget and meet quality objectives

Develop software solutions to meet end user's requirements

Help create high level design and related technical documents

Creates low level design documents

Help modify or upgrade applications to maintain software functionality

Help in POCs/gathering information for designing software applications

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

3+ years of experience with programming languages such as C#, Angular 17

3+ years of experience with NodeJS 18, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java 8+ (Core and Advanced), Spring Boot 3.x

3+ years of experience with.NET Framework such as ASP.Net, ASP.NET Core

3+ years of experience with UI Frameworks such as Angular, React

3+ years of experience with Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or PCF

3+ years of experience with Databases such as Oracle, SQL Server

3+ years of experience with SharePoint Framework such as SharePoint 2013/2016

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience in the aerospace domain

Experience with Agile Methodologies (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)

Experience in Data structures, algorithms and Design Patterns

Experience in different SOA design patterns, micro services design and API management

Experience in RESTful Web Services and Microservices

Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases

Experience with ALM tools such as GitLab, TFS, ClearCase, and SVN

Experience with software system management throughout the entire life cycle in all stages of the software development life cycle

Experience with DevOps and Continuous Integration, including familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins

Experience collaborating with internal business partners and product owners to deliver products/applications that enhance user experience

Experience working with Product Managers, Systems/Data Analysts, and UX Designers to define application requirements and usability

Experience in software build, integration, and debugging in simulated and integration environments
