Job Responsibilities
Manage parts pool configuration of available & applicable parts by program/model typeEvaluate impact of service bulletins, mandatory changes, customer options, engineering change memos, part drawing changes and part interchangeability updatesMake changes in Master Part Data Library (MPDL)Induct specific models into MPDL and understand model contract requirements related to parts configuration managementInvestigate and provide solutions to parts engineering related customer requestsDraft, coordinate and manage customer Part Configuration Agreements (PCAs)Coordinate with other engineering groups, supplier management, program management, finance and other on-site Boeing support groupsCommunicate with suppliers and customers inside and outside of BoeingMinimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field from an accredited institutionExperience: 5+ years of related work experience with Boeing engineering requirements and processesTechnical Skills: Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specificationsCommunication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify problems, develop solutions, and implement changes in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Production Configuration ManagementExperience working with multi-functional teams/organizationsExperience working with suppliers and customersExperience with PDM, CAPP, REDARS, PSDS, IVT, WIRS, VELOCITY, ENOVIA, MyBoeingFleet, SRP, STEPSDrug Free Workplace:
