Mid level Harness Design Engineer

Summary: Seeking Mid-level Harness Design Engineers with expertise in Capital Harness System software for designing electrical wiring harnesses.

Requirements:

US Citizenship required BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science 5-7 years of Harness Design experience Hands-on experience with Capital Harness System (CHS) software: Harness XC, Capital Logic, and Capital Topology Experience with Pro-E Creo and NX Experience with Visio

Responsibilities:

Design electrical wiring harnesses including component selection for connectors and related items Determine harness layout through vehicle and branch points for multi-branch harnesses Design to environmental requirements for temperature, shock, vibration, submergence, and chemical exposure Work with CAD draftsman to route harnesses in Pro-E and/or NX Develop release drawings for harnesses and related electrical installations Collaborate with Systems Engineers to define vehicle pin-level interconnects Work with Physical Architects on harness routing channels and space claims

Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
