Job Summary:
KBR is seeking a Mid-Level FMS Financial Analyst to join our team supporting the fast paced and highly desirable PMA265 Australia F-18 program. The successful candidate will support the Business Financial Manager in providing managerial/cost accounting, budgeting, funding execution, workforce management, system support, financial analyses, financial tracking, and overall financial support providing solutions to customer requirements to meet evolving challenges. The candidate will have a high attention to detail, advanced excel skills, effective communication skills, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Roles and Responsibilities
+ Deliver financial and accounting support to the Program Office BFM and associated teams, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
+ Performs analytical and evaluative work requiring a comprehensive knowledge of: (1) theory and principle; (2) financial and management organization, operations, and practices; (3) pertinent statutory or regulatory provisions; and (4) related basic economic, accounting, and legal principles.
+ Develops and analyze impacts of budget marks.
+ Development of appropriate acquisition documentation regarding financial interest items.
+ Perform detailed cost accounting, budgeting, and funding execution activities to support program and project financial planning.
+ Provide system-level financial support to ensure optimal allocation and utilization of personnel and funding.
+ Conduct in-depth financial analyses and tracking to monitor expenditures, forecast future financial needs, and identify opportunities for cost savings or reallocation.
+ Prepare and deliver financial documentation, reports, and briefings for internal and external stakeholders.
+ Execute a variety of organizational activities, including special projects and ad hoc data calls, providing timely and accurate financial input.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning, performance measurement, and continuous improvement efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
+ Valid Secret Security Clearance
+ BS/BA degree
+ 3 Years Financial Management experience, 2 must be within DoN
+ Experience with FMS Case documents.
+ Knowledge of FMS financial policies and procedures is required.
+ Advanced Excel Skills
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with NERP, DSAMS, MISIL, SCIP and other DoN financial automated accounting & budgeting systems
+ Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT) experience.
+ Current access to Navy ERP with experience in processing funding documents
+ Knowledge of DSAMS and case documents
+ CRT access and knowledge of CRT reports.
+ SCIP access and experience with Info Warehouse
Salary: $83,930 - $125,000. The salary range posted is for Maryland locations. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
