The role

We’re seeking a passionate and credible Security Sales Specialist to drive strategic customer engagements around Microsoft’s Security portfolio. This role is focused on helping enterprise clients protect their digital assets, manage risk, and comply with regulations using Microsoft’s end-to-end security solutions. This is a client-facing, field sales role.

 

Key responsibilities include: 

Sell Microsoft Security solutions including: Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity, Cloud, Office 365) Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM) Microsoft Purview (Compliance & Data Governance) Microsoft Entra ID (Identity & Access Management) Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Management) Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer security priorities Lead customer conversations around Zero Trust, threat protection, identity security, and compliance Collaborate with Microsoft account teams, technical specialists, and partners to co-sell and deliver value Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to closing, including demos, workshops, RFP responses, licensing, and contract negotiation Stay current on Microsoft’s evolving security offerings and industry trends 

Success Criteria 

 Achieving or exceeding sales targets and quotas for Microsoft Security solutions, including closing deals, generating revenue, and contributing to the overall sales growth of the organization. Expanding the market presence of Microsoft’s Security solutions, including identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and increasing market share in targeted regions. 

Organizational Alignment 

 This role will be part of a team of sellers dedicated to selling security solutions and will report to the Microsoft Sales Director. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, customer success, and sales ops to ensure successful execution of sales strategies. 
What we need to see from you

5+ years in enterprise technology sales, preferably in cybersecurity or cloud security Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and compliance requirements Must have knowledge of Microsoft’s Security stack and Zero Trust architecture Proven success in consultative selling to CISOs, security architects, and compliance leaders Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Ability to translate technical capabilities into business outcomes Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills Experience working with Microsoft field teams or partner ecosystem is a plus
