The Microsoft Dynamics Administrator is responsible for the evolution and daily management of Microsoft Dynamics Sales Hub and Business Central, the division’s opportunity development and order fulfillment systems. This position will be responsible for the overall configuration and functionality of the system and will use technical knowledge to provide strategic solutions through software configuration and customization as well as provide support to users.
The Microsoft Dynamics Administrator will be regarded as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in both Microsoft Dynamics and company’s customizations of the product. The SME role is essential and must fully understand how the system works, workflows, business processes, and business rules that are built into the system. They must understand data flows, integrations from other parts of the application, and be able to provide entry-level and advanced training on the system.
Additionally, the Microsoft Dynamics Administrator will work with internal and external technical resources to manage integrations with other company systems, development of new system features and ongoing maintenance and management of system data.
**Major Responsibilities**
+ Provide ownership and leadership of the implementation, utilization, and expansion of the company’s Microsoft Dynamics system.
+ Understand business processes, business rules, and mapping from the various connected systems.
+ Work collaboratively with management to identify needs, employ best practices in a CRM environment, and seek ways to improve processes and maximize utilization.
+ Function independently to manage annual system support and enhancement budget by triaging, prioritizing, and designing system enhancements to meet business needs within budget constraints.
+ Monitor system automations and other custom logic within the system.
+ Coordinate functional system-related activities including system maintenance, upgrades, functional development, and testing, in coordination with various product managers, teams and vendors.
+ Serve as the primary Quality Assurance resource for the system to test enhancements, bug fixes and system upgrades.
+ Responsible for keeping abreast of Microsoft feature roadmap and release schedule to ensure the company’s use of the system capitalizes on new features and stays up-to-date with Microsoft best-practices.
+ Act as trouble shooter and point-person for team members when they have questions or need to learn how to use additional functionalities of the system.
+ Understand all licensed sub-components within the system and how they interact.
+ Ensure that all break/fix issues are addressed promptly, and coordinates work with our third-party system support vendor to implement fixes.
+ Responsible for managing our third-party support vendor in developing product enhancements.
+ Work with the company’s data analytics team to ensure reports produced using Microsoft Dynamics data are accurate and effective.
**Required Practical Experience / Background / Skills**
+ Experience working as a project manager, software development manager and/or Microsoft Dynamics system administrator. (dynamics experience)
+ Strong foundation of technical knowledge, including hands-on experience withMicrosoft Dynamics CRM, as well as a solid understanding ofdatabases,system integrations,software development methodologies, andquality assurance processes
+ Strong customer service skills including verbal and written communications.
+ Superior time management skills including sense of urgency and proactive approach.
+ An understanding of accounting data and accounting systems.
+ Strict adherence to professional ethics.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
+ Ability to work on and successfully complete multiple projects at the same time.
+ At least three years of relevant technology experience in related technical environment preferred.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
