Microsoft 365 Identity Engineer
Job Description We are seeking a Microsoft 365 & Identity Engineer to lead and support the secure implementation of Microsoft 365 services and manage identity and access controls across our enterprise environment. This individual will ensure compliance with financial industry regulations while driving forward a modern, zero-trust, cloud-first security strategy. The position requires accomplished expertise in the engineering, testing, and deployment of highly complex systems and services, including the integration with M365 and SaaS applications and developing and sustaining standards and practices of the underlying technologies. Hands-on maintenance and support of production services and remediation and methodical troubleshooting of issues escalated by first and second layer operational support teams. Grasps ITIL fundamental processes related to the service lifecycle and demonstrates a maturity in applying technology and soft people skills. Skills and Requirements - 8 + years of experience designing, implementing and supporting M365 services across Exchange online, Teams, Sharepoint, Onedrive and Defender - Lead Tenant hardening and secure configuarion aligned with financial compliance frameworks while managing M365 Lifecycles Mail retention, DLP, eDiscovery ect. - 5+ years implementing and designing identity and access management systems including Architecture of Azure AD with conditional access and MFA policies - Experience managing Privileged Identity Management (PIM) and Just-in-Time (JIT) access in addition to SaaS and application integration with Azure AD / SSO - Collaborate with infosec on Zero Trust policies, insider risk, and IAM threat mitigation. Align all identity and M365 configurations with SOX, GLBA, FFIEC, and internal audit standards. - 5+ years experience providing enterprise support within a FINRA compliant organization or department. - Experience with automation of M365 and IAM operations using PowerShell and Graph API - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering o SC-300: Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator Associate o MS-500: Microsoft 365 Security Administrator o AZ-104 or SC-400 null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
