Are you a seasoned microbiologist ready to take the lead in ensuring the safety and integrity of life-saving pharmaceutical products? Join Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories PSS, where your expertise will directly support aseptic manufacturing and environmental monitoring at a cutting-edge pharmaceutical facility.

What You’ll Do

As the Microbiology Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of quality control, guiding a team and overseeing critical microbiological testing in a GMP-regulated cleanroom environment. Your leadership will help ensure that every product meets the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Leading environmental monitoring during aseptic operations and media fills using:Non-viable particle countersContact platesMicrobial air samplersOverseeing utility sampling (WFI, purified water, compressed gases) with validated methodsReviewing and interpreting microbial data with precision and integrityEnsuring accurate documentation in electronic systemsEscalating deviations or equipment issues promptlyMaintaining a clean, compliant, and audit-ready lab environmentMentoring and supporting junior team membersCollaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related field3+ years of hands-on experience in a GMP/GLP pharmaceutical settingStrong aseptic technique and cleanroom experienceProven leadership or supervisory backgroundDetail-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
