Environmental Conditions

Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Laboratory Setting, Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)

Job Description

Key responsibilities: ​

Performs/ensures environmental monitoring: collects and evaluates air, surface, and water samples.

Prepares environmental monitoring trends and annual reports.

Performs/ensures microbiological, physicochemical, and biochemical testing of product and raw materials.

Performs gowning qualification of operators which involved in aseptic process.

Engages in aseptic process simulation and process validation: conducts and validates microbiological testing.

Prepares procedures and instructions, trains department employees.

Conducts gowning qualification for operators participating in aseptic procedures.

Supervises deviations in production environment monitoring and performs non-conformity prevention.

Keys to Success:

Education

University Bachelor's or Master's degree in molecular biology, chemistry, biochemistry, genomics, or similar fields.

Experience

Laboratory work experience.Work experience in a production, microbiological control or research department (would be considered as advantage).

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Excellent English and Lithuanian language skills in verbal and written communication.Digital literacy in Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint).Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 13485 quality standards. Understanding of GMP requirements.Knowledge of microbiological methods used for testing.Understanding of aseptic production principles and rules.

Compensation

The monthly salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €1 983,33–€2 970,83.
