Summary Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! Responsibilities Responsible for the supervision and administrative functions of the MCX24 services and personnel. Product inventory includes but not limited to, an assortment of snack, beverage, frozen, fresh, hot food, and other merchandise assortments. Operates an administrative computer and peripheral equipment. Monitors inventory, inputs, retrieves, and reports data as needed to ensure efficient and accurate inventory accountability. Performs administrative functions and training in MCX24 software which entails handheld computer input for all route tasks. Manages internal procedures and resources to ensure maximum productivity. Maintains records, files and reports as required. Recommends new programs or products; and makes appropriate product changes to enhance sales growth. Uses a variety of industry methods to maintain operational effectiveness. Assists in planning, reviewing, and implementing policies established by higher authority. Develops business strategies ensuring policy and procedural compliance, measures performance and corrects failing strategies. Coordinate with business partners to identify new potential MCX24 locations. Draft business proposal seeking approval for purchasing and installation of equipment. Collaborate with MCCS internal and external partners to expand the MCX24 location. Evaluates and advises on the effectiveness of operating procedures including the economic and effective utilization of personnel and equipment. Reviews and recommends revisions to standard retail and warehouse inventory concepts. Makes recommendations on the implementation of internal controls, loss prevention initiatives and additional areas of inventory management. Inspects locations to ensure the MCX24s are sustained, and brand standards are upheld to ensure maximum sales potential in accordance with prescribed procedures. Supervises employees to include, assigning and distributing work, coaching, counseling, and mentoring employees; approving and disapproving leave, recommending and completing personnel actions, disciplinary actions, completing performance reviews, signing timesheets, training employees, keeping abreast of and actively supporting the principles of the EEO program, and prevention of sexual harassment. Provides World Class Customer Service with an emphasis on courtesy. Assists customers and communicates positively in a friendly manner. Takes action to solve problems quickly. Alerts the higher-level supervisor, or proper point of contact for help when problems arise. Ensures implementation of an activity safety program in accordance with the Base Safety Program. Advise employees of available safety regulations, instructions, materials, and equipment. Promptly reports workplace accidents/injury to the Human Resources Office. Ensures that safety training is provided to employees. Complies with OSHA standards and takes action to correct unsafe or unhealthy working conditions. Ensures employees understand safety infractions that can result in disciplinary actions, and follows through with appropriate action. Performs other related duties as assigned. Responsibilities may include the supervision and administrative functions related to the Mobile Tactical Field Exchange (MTFE). Requirements Conditions of Employment See Duties and Qualifications EVALUATIONS: Qualifications Three (3) years¿ experience and knowledge of procedures associated with standard retail and/or vending operations. Warehouse operation and/or Project Management experience preferrable. Ability to make sound decisions in situations not covered by written instructions. Excellent organizational, communication, coordination, training and problem resolution skills. Ability to read and prepare reports related to merchandise ordering, replenishment, and inventory management. Ability to operate computer and peripheral equipment. Microsoft excel experience preferred. Skill to supervise employees in the accomplishment of work. Skill to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Ability to acquire the appropriate government driver¿s license for vehicle/equipment use. This is a mixed position where the incumbent must be able to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
