We are looking for a full-time permanent MHE Trainer who can support, develop, and deliver all areas of training and development at our BT site in Lutterworth.
Working hours for the role are Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm, but flexibility will be needed.
The main part of your role will be MHE training; however, when there is no training sessions scheduled, you’ll be expected to support the operation as needed.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £30,000 (£24,000.00 base salary with a £6,000.00 trainer’s allowance) per annum and 22 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
Ensure your own training accreditations are always kept up-to-date and audit checks are completed to ensure the safety instructors are up-to-date too Train all staff on the relevant MHE and Manual Handling Keep up to date with industry best practise and safety standards to assist the safety and site security manager to build robust safety training plans, so we consistently deliver a high level of safety training and to secure further line of business training requests Ensure the training matrix is always updated Responsible for building training programmes, as and when required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
A current MHE trainer qualification (RTITB, ITSSAR or AITT) and actively training on a recent and regular basis – consideration will also be given to extensively experienced MHE operators who hold valid licences and would like to undertake their trainer qualification Previous warehouse experience and holder of Counterbalance, Reach Truck, VNA licences Flexible in your approach to ensure business needs are met and exceeded, whilst building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders The ability to multitask, prioritise and build strong working relationships at all levels
