Mgr. Strategy & Programs

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: 

As an insight curator and storytelling specialist, this role transforms a wide array of stakeholder input and e-commerce performance data into clear, compelling narratives that drive understanding and decision-making across the business. Leveraging strong business acumen, you’ll convert performance analytics and team updates into visually engaging storylines for leadership presentations, business performance reviews and team communications, thus directly influencing business decisions and team culture. 

This role bridges communication, analytics and design, thus offering broad scope, high visibility, and significant impact. As a Manager in the Strategy & Programs team within adidas’ EM Digital team, you’ll work independently and collaboratively across functional and regional teams. You’ll monitor data dashboards for insights, consult teams for updates and distill complex information into simple, meaningful messages tailored to diverse audiences - enhancing cross-functional alignment and collaboration. 

Your high-quality content, primarily in PowerPoint, will highlight business performance, challenges and strategic actions. Often shared by EM VP Digital with senior leadership across EM and Global, your work will help support e-commerce business growth. Success requires positivity, professionalism, strong communication and visualization skills, analytical thinking, adaptability, curiosity, resilience, and a growth mindset. 

 

Key Responsibilities: create business content, support leadership team and manage team comms to improve EM Digital’s business performance and team collaboration 

Content Creation & Storytelling 

Curate straight-forward, action-oriented narratives that simplify complex topics by connecting data, business context and stakeholder input

Brief various teammates on content needed in order to design slides that best visualize content, are formatted to perfection and adapt to feedback 

Design high-impact presentations for board-level meetings, leadership updates and team communications (recurring, planned and ad hoc) 

Continuously refine slide templates/image banks for reuse and efficiency 

Analyze data to identify key trends, insights and business implications 

Leadership Support

Prepare VP EM Digital and Digital Leadership Team for key milestones, meetings, and follow-ups, continually improving cadence as needed

Create and manage a KPI tracking system to support business reviews

Provide ad hoc support on special projects and business updates 

 

Team Communications & Engagement 

Draft internal communications (e.g. emails, MS Viva Engage posts, etc)

Manage and update team assets (e.g. SharePoint, onboarding deck, etc)

Collaboratively plan and produce engaging virtual/in-person team events

Requisite Education & Experience: 

7+ years of experience in communications, design, analytics, project management 

Experience creating content for senior leadership audiences 

Management consulting, data visualization, business analytics background preferred 

Advanced MS Office proficiency (PPT, Teams, Viva, XLS, SharePoint, Smartsheet) 

Experience working in fast-paced, multicultural environments 

Fluent in English (verbal and written) 

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed
