Job Description:  Job Overview TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets. What your background should look like:

Key Responsibilities


Strategy & Market Insight

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Develop segment strategies, value propositions, and product roadmaps. Define go-to-market strategies and partner with R&D and Operations on new product development.

 

Business & Financial Management

Build and align the annual business plan (sales, margin, pricing). Define resource needs and ensure cross-functional alignment. Manage P&L performance of the product portfolio.

 

New Product Development & Launch

Lead NPI opportunities and launch planning. Provide demand forecasts for SIOP. Support customer engagements and collaborate with Marketing for launch materials.

 

Post-Launch Execution

Ensure profitable growth and accurate forecasting. Support Sales with training and collateral. Manage product issues and special pricing requests.

 

Team Leadership

Lead and develop Regional Product Managers. Drive succession planning and capability development.

 

Key Metrics of Success

Sales growth and market share Gross margin performance Inventory and cost reduction targets On-time NPI execution Forecast accuracy Talent development

 

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong strategic mindset and business acumen Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership Ability to organize, prioritize, and drive results Product application knowledge and pricing experience Proficiency with MS Office, SAP, and Salesforce

 

Qualifications

5+ years in product management or sales Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technical field, or business MBA preferred Experience with utility connectors/fittings a strong plus Prior team leadership experience Competencies Motivating OthersBuilding Effective TeamsManaging and Measuring WorkValues: Integrity, Accountability, Inclusion, Innovation, TeamworkSET : Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)
